About Us

At 17-months-old, Caleb Hoppe (a twin), was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. His treatments would take 3 years and 8 months. During that time, Caleb’s parents found his iPad to be a lifesaver. The iPad helped to pass the time during long hospital stays, spinal taps and — most importantly — kept Caleb in touch with family via FaceTime. After seeing the benefits of having an iPad during their hospital stays, the Hoppe Family thought of children undergoing treatments who might not have an iPad. That is when iCaleb&Co was born.

Our mission is to ease the burden of long hospital stays by providing an iPad for every child actively undergoing cancer treatment at South Bend Memorial.

“It’s unfortunate that hospitals even have to have a pediatric oncology unit— but if they must, then we must help make their stay a little easier. ”

— ANDREA HOPPE, Co-founder of iCaleb&Co
